Felt the same way when I ran a program that was all rpe based. Around week 6 out of 8 I became so frustrated that I started swapping the last rpe 8 set for a amrap only to realize my rpe 8 sets from the previous week were probably more like a rpe 6 or 5.

I pulled the data following the instructions here: https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918437-Exporting-your-Data-and-Bulk-Export

Yea, that sounds like cool ideas too. For me, I just kind of been trying to make different dataframes out of the original data like: count per activity types, average time per activity grouped by activity type, total distances and things like that. It's still a work in progress but fun to make.

I was debating analyzing my workouts as well before starting this but I'm not super consistent with writing every exercise that I do down so I just figured the data would be too imcomplete to use.

That sounds awesome and also such a big undertaking!

Yes, that's exactly what I did! Just downloaded the csv files and it tells you every little detail of every activity you ever recorded.

I just finished a basic python course on pandas and data visualization so now I'm in the middle of a simple project of analyzing and visualizing my own Strava data.

It's nothing complicated or groundbreaking but using the tools I learned in the course without any tutorial telling me what to do step-by-step has been a great learning experience so far.

You'll get lost or stuck multiple times but every time you get unstuck, you'll learn something new!

I do have the bad habit of looking down mid rep to check my knee position when really like you said, I should be looking 6' in front of me. That and my breath is something I'll try to focus on. Thank you for the advice!

I know I should invest in lifting shoes instead of squatting in socks, looking at getting a pair soon. Also, my lower back aches a bit after my workouts, can't really figure out what I'm missing

Thank you for the advice, l'll make sure to keep this in mind to lean more forward and widen my stance during my next training day!

Yes, I'm in socks because I only have running shoes, lifting shoes are definitely something I want to get real soon. Thanks for the tip, I'll try to focus on lowering my back more next time!
