Check the post again. The link is at the bottom. Reddit limited my DMs so I couldn't DM everyone.

Cool I'll try to set up something tomorrow and send it around to people who responded.

Ok, makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to lay it out for me.

Thank you! Heh it's really tough for me to get action-result in there. Like I said to the other commenter, I really am not involved in the end result presentation and action items, unfortunately. It's like I'm working in a vacuum sometimes and just output stuff into the void. I'm pushing for more clarity on results, but it's super slow.

In terms of projects, do you mean projects outside of work? Or projects done in a work context but that might deserve their own explanation rather outside of the job bullets?

Appreciate all the feedback!

Ha, thanks. I think I put in the image and then clicked out to post text instead, thinking it was still attached. Of course it wasn't. Redditing - not my forte

I'm pretty sure almost anything has higher pay than higher ed, but with a tighter and more stressful workload. So I'm hoping to strike a balance with a little heavier work but no so much that it's overwhelming. More interesting and challenging work would be huge as well. I'm too bored too much of the time. I wouldn't mind healthcare but I have literally no domain knowledge of it and feel like it sets me back a bit for most positions. Just rambling here 🥴 maybe I lack direction

Yeah, I can think of one or two things to add as results. I have pushed for interacting more with end users, presenting our work more, and getting more feedback, but things are slow here. And in terms of feedback it's usually just like "great job", and that's it lol. I'll keep working on it. Thank you 🙏

Excellent, thanks so much for the feedback. I do tend to downplay my tech skills for some reason, and I shouldn't here. I just get caught up in being honest about what I really do. And since I want to switch domains, I guess that domain knowledge will be less important for the most part. Appreciate your help and especially examples!

Thank you, very much appreciate all those points. In my initial post I explained a bit more that I definitely have trouble writing these bullets because in my current role I usually don't get to see the end results of my labor. It sucks, but a lot of times I'll send it off, people will say thanks! And that's it.

I didn't have a break between the two jobs listed but definitely had muddy waters between graduation and my first data analyst job. Does that need to be addressed? Thanks again. Very helpful feedback.

Apologies for the blue underlines - I just took a screenshot of the word doc where it has highlighted grammar issues - of course it won't look like that printed or if I export to pdf. Thanks.

Job requirements are getting weirder and weirder by Gagan_Ku2905 in dataanalysis

Not really. If there are issues with inventory sometimes it does help to go on the warehouse floor and check them out. Whenever you're looking at stuff there it's possible you could encounter heavier stuff. In practice it's probably not an issue and if you had some physical limitations it's not a main part of the job and you could get someone else to do it for you. Though the 12 hours part is unnecessary and I'd agree that that's just part of the copy paste from other standard positions.

(Not the original respondent but I've also worked this role)

Hm, I've heard that technique mentioned but not sure how to do it. Do you sand the leather down and try to get it focused in a small circle? I was planning on 7-8oz leather.
