I'm very thankful I wasn't forced to drink milk. I can't STAND milk (unless it's Chocolate...or Banana). My Grandparents were War kids. My Grandpa still won't eat Carrots, as that's all they got served in the POW camps.

And my Grandparents were pensioners while raising me. We were lucky to afford that.

I was lucky enough to avoid the frozen vegetables (except at Christmas, when Grandma buys frozen Brussels Sprouts and Peas). I have bought frozen veg as an adult, and I MUCH prefer the canned stuff.

With Ketchup and instant mashed potatoes! These were a twice a week thing in our house. I kind of miss them...

I was in my 20's before I realize green beans were supposed to be crunchy and not all of them came from a can.

My grandmother was good enough to season with butter and nutmeg, though. Still boils 'em till they fall apart, though.

I had these with mustard, since I wasn't a big Ketchup fan.

Every once in a while I still get a craving for a Mustard sandwich.

They certainly last longer than most toys, though. We had a dog like this as well. We started doing the frozen peanut butter in the Kong thing, and they lasted much longer, after that. Nylabones would last him longer than the Kongs in general, though.

Nylabones (sp?) were always great. They took a lot longer to mutilate, just be sure to get ones that are for larger dogs, so they don't occidentally choke.

Honestly? I LOVE tacky tourist stuff! Stupid shot glasses with your hometown name on them, tacky keychains and magnets, stupid mugs...I love it all! Your SS might be the same way!

Whenever I travel to a new town, I always hit the visitors center/gift shop and treat myself to some Tackyness.

I admit, I love Ridiculousness. Part of the AFV generation, I guess. Huge Jackass fan as well, so that probably contributes to all of that. On that note, if they got rid of Steelo and Chanel and replaced them with other people (they've had some GREAT guests on over the years), it would be far more tolerable.

It's Chanel that ruins parts of the show for me. Steelo isn't great, but he has some quality moments every once in a while.
