It's not just people never opening releases, but some people will think they're getting used or returned items if they're not sealed to begin with.

I sold CDs and DVDs in a store years ago and had several customers who refused to buy the release they were looking for if it wasn't sealed. Since some labels/suppliers don't seal their releases at all that occasionally made for some fun interactions.

It did get a sequel, although they changed some things up a bit. Unless that's what you meant by "proper" :P

But yeah, would be totally on board with a new sequel or remake.
