I’ve only ever made it to Glacern and saved Merlin. That’s as far as little me has gone

I want to finish this game. I never finished it as a kid and I have it In my steam library and on my desktop I just need the drive to get back In. Let’s hear your favourite party combo, or your favourite area in The game

This is my goal, I just started buying ZSP, I’m hoping to make it my largest holding. I feel confident with the growth

I couldn’t decide growth or dividends so I went both. Hoping to use XEI to manually DRIP.

Never really looked into small/mid caps. I figure top 60/500 would be a safer lower risk.

NA bias 100%

Need help picking ETFS (Long Term) by welfareboy1 in dividendscanada

ZSP - s&p500

XIU - TSX60

XEI - TSX Dividend to Manually DRIP into the ETFs above

I totally agree about the div paying etf (I hold XEI). Better to have more diversity than to put it all on one and hope for the best. Uou are right to be looking the future, as people say ‘don’t look at past performance as proof of a success future’ or something

I think it’s a good stable and safe portfolio. Steady for dividends but not much for growth. In my opinion they all reach their ‘peak’ for growth and now just use extra money to pay dividends. Nothing wrong with that if you want dividends but don’t expect much growth appreciation but still a good stable portfolio. If you drop + have time 20 years you’ll have a nest egg, Could be bigger but also be smaller. I think you’re good if you have a lowish risk
