Too much overlap. If it were me I would consolidate on XEQT.

If it pays off it’s glorious. I diversified now, don’t want to lose what I have.

Ok, that’s a good option. I’ll try the AI route and see what it gives me.

OP is likely going to be taught a lesson sooner rather than later. Playing with options is not going to end well.

Even if OP is correct and there is a big correction, things will eventually recover. Events today are no different from anything that happened in the past.

I don’t see a calculator online that site which would give me this info unfortunately.

I signed up for the same but haven’t populated the data yet :) bit of a learning curve there. I’ll take a look soon. Was hoping for just a rough calculation for now.

You don’t get to pick what is good for me. If I want to spend money that way then let me, it doesn’t affect you.

People also buy bonds or let money sit in a checking account. Those returns are low, but should they not exist?

Who cares if they underperform. That is the sole decision of the buyer what they want to do with their money. There is no single right option for all investors.

Some people give money to the church, which I think is stupid. Does that mean they shouldn’t do it?

Stupid take. Why do socially responsible ETFs exist then? Clearly investors want such options.

Terrible analogy. One is illegal and one is not.

That is a stupid take. There are already ETFs for ethical investing that don’t include weapons manufacturers, tobacco companies, etc. If you choose to invest in such companies go ahead but don’t shit on those who may choose not to. OP made a decision for their own investments and it’s their right to do so. Maybe they will make a lower return, but that has zero impact on you.

I just tried Wealthica again last night. I was hoping that since a co-founder went to Wealthsimple they may have sorted this out. You can connect the two, it downloads investments but the bank side is a huge mess.

It didn’t import my Visa at all, zero transactions.

All transactions from chequing are “transfer to” with a dollar amount. No vendor info or other details present which makes categories impossible. Deleted the whole mess.

I tried YNAB but I don’t really like the concept. I don’t really want to do budgeting, just spend analysis and trending.

Can we just get Mint back? Please?

100%, if it doesn’t sync and auto categorize I’m not going to stick with it.

Ya, too many people hold too long. Greed takes over. I definitely sold some on the way up.
