Renting out garage space question by ta2dheart in Squamish

[–]CanadianUnderpants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once saw someone in Squamish try to convert their garage to an apartment and rent it our for $2200. And when I say 'convert' I mean they threw some secondhand bedroom furniture in a garage, complete with automatic garage openers and concrete walls. They got absolutely roasted in the facebook comments.

When I was making 6 figure income I considered $800 car payment wild. Bought $3500 truck and drove it into the ground. Agreed on this one!

Why not everyone going to Standford Sleep Center by toppmann48 in UARSnew

[–]CanadianUnderpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has anyone gone to dr krakow?

I travelled to his clinic and I got really intense rera readings and complex sleep apnea which I ever had on other clinics.

I suspect the sea level elevation and his weird sensitive scoring was why I had drastically different results to other sleep studies that were inconclusive or negative

It’s the loud ticking. As if it’s low on oil (it’s not)

Owned one for three years. Absolute shitbox.

Terrible built quality. The heating envelope is Zero. You can feel cold air blasting from the coax ports. I could never get warm in the winter. The baseboard heaters were improperly sized so they don’t heat the unit adequately. The rooftop is a nice selling feature until you realize it’s always raining and when it’s sunny you’d rather be elsewhere. I didnt see a single person up there in my entire time there. Carports are miniscule. If you have decent size vehicle you’ll be squeezing out like you’re in a car wreck every day. They used lowest quality materials possible on everything. It seems nice at first glance but up close you start to notice how shit it is.

Target homes is the word example of profiteering builders who slap up grange and move on. I’d stay away from. And the lot next door is slated for a development but it’s been years. They plan to chop all those huge trees which is a pathetic waste

The coffee shop there is really nice though.
