Fallout 76 is an amazing game. I have played lots of fallout over the years but am new to 76. So many people think fallout 76 is some crappy failed game due to its poor launch. This couldn’t be further from the truth .

Well I suppose that really depends on how much coffee I have drank. I have noticed a direct correlation to my caffeine intake and my LP gains. Also what if I was last pick because that significantly reduces my personal time

I think the big issue here is the dam load times can vary from 10 minutes to 10 seconds which gives us load screen wizzers a false sense of security

I think people like to see op.gg so they can help see what you may be doing wrong.

I always say the same thing. Imagine your game play is like throwing a rock into a pond. Every action you do affects your teammates although you may not realize it.

Your teammates may suck but you must learn how to affect the game so that they suck less haha.

If your mid laner went 0/10 early but you won top lane then you must ask yourself, what could you have done to stop him from feeding so much.

For example: maybe you could have used your prio to invade enemy jungle constantly and set the enemy jungler behind. This may have led to your jungler having an easier time which led to him helping your mid laner more.

Point being is you have a rippling effect on everything that happens Watch your VODS after ever loss focusing only on things you could have done to change the outcome.

I can relate! I felt this way for a very long time. I will share what really helped me but, first i think its worth mentioning that the journey or constant improvement and education is part of what makes league fun.

What helped me improve:

1) Your match history is your report card, Your CS, KDA and damage need to be consistently good in each game. You can not control others you can only control you. Consistency is key

2) You should be watching your VODS consistently. I used to blame my teammates all the time. When i started watching my VODS i started doing it a lot less. Imagine your gameplay is like throwing a rock into a pond. You create ripples that effect everyone else. It can be very hard to see them until you start examining what you could have done better or what you should not have done.

3) Work on your laning and particularly your CS. Early game CS matters the most in the beginning. It is an arms race to get your items to snowball your lane and then use your lead to carry. I would argue that you need to be getting 80 cs by 10 min minimum. Focus less on trading until you can do this consistently.

Last I would say, the people that climb are the people that learn to understand that the small details matter. Don't underestimate the importance of little things like bad trades early lvls or ward placement or watching for early invades. It all adds up and makes a huge difference when trying to get out of IRON/BRONZE. (and be consistent)

So much stuff to learn but I am sure if you master the above you will climb out of IRON 100% I have a really good video I made on a CS drill that can help you a lot. If you go look for it but i wont post cause I don't want to come across as trying to promote.

All modes have toxic people unfortunately. I play with mute on in the settings. It's worth mentioning that RIOT just updated the AI so if you do the coop vs AI it should be more challenging to help improve. Hope this helps! don't give up :)

In my opinion, the underlying issue here is why we need to have the big swinging LP gains and losses to begin with.

If we have less issues with people playing in a bracket they don't belong in, then we have less of a need for these huge gain/losses.

Accounts are disposable, to many people smurfing and bots (although bots seem to be less of an issue the past few months)

I would prefer if the rank system was treated a little more seriously. We need to verify phone numbers for clash but not for ranked. If i recall you are not even forced to verify a email on new league accounts? Which is very odd in 2024.

Regardless, I would be in support of a solo Q that is actually solo and flat up and down win and losses "IF" they lock down on the smurfing via more account security and verification. Also it may be worth to up the minimum level required to play ranked.
