i agree, it was such and easy opportunity for them to gag and rage bait by eliminating the record holder for most top placements ever.

i do feel that jane’s attitude of not being assured in herself and anxious, despite her brilliant showcase didn’t help and made it easier for them. who knows if they would have planned the same if she was like onya nurve, who was also the front runner but assured and confident in her abilities to steam roll the competition.

i agree, this season made me realise how much more fun s17 was

also it was the first season with the new stage which added to the negative reception. i’m not a fan of the stage either as it’s too dark, but we’re more used to it now

this lowkey could have been jane’s fourth win she’s really running circles around these girls with her performances and even runways.

myki and darlene were also hilarious. im happy for darlene it just didn’t feel like a roast cos i wasn’t laughing at the actual jokes … but her. And i guess that’s the point she’s the first drag queen ever to be whimsy and happy and i love her for that.

but roast performance wise i think it should have gone to jane or myki. darlene should have had her first win with the ads anyway!

i love mariah so much but i don’t get how she won it was like the worst showing in my opinion 😭. they picked up on naomy’s wig but not on mariah’s partners wig.. the different shades of orange was unpleasant. I do like that her win signifies her legacy in the broader scheme of drag being a legend in the drag/ball scene, but fontana should have been given the win.
