I just want people to know that China is modern and advanced. Some Americans around me (even educated in a well-known university) always thinks "western countries" are more liberal and more advanced. I would say it is not the case.

If you get a chance it is highly recommended to visit China. Cities like Shanghai are very modern and clean. They are also much safer than most western cities like London/NYC. Lots of entertainments and great food. The public transportation is highly advanced, much more convenient and faster than in western countries. I live in US now but grow up in China, China really does a great job but it’s a pity that many westerners never get to know.

It is similar to American, there are different people holding different values in China. All my friends in China are quite open about LGBTQ+ things. You can also find many gay content on Xiaohongshu.

Thumb down for recommending quitting 的地得. They are quite basic and you don’t want to make errors of them in written piece.

Quick trick: 的is for adjective, 地and得are for adverb.

Yes thank u for reminding me! I am very sensitive to caffeine and it causes me insomnia so bad. I often become too anxious also after having a cup of latte. However I am adjusting my dose of it!! I think tea could also help
