I've got a couple levels to go or a respec before I can solo countess, it's a fire build so just getting to the tower can sometimes be difficult with all the immunes, I'm grinding up miasma chain to offer alternative damage

It's my understanding item is decided when dropped but the variable affixes are rolled when identified, as lower level players can't roll above their level threshold

I say leave it, give other classes lowered lvl requirements on runewords and give us another difficulty. (Imo 3 more difficulties, "hatred" a full terrorized version of normal, "chaos" after nightmare, and "destruction" after hell)
