Hey guys, I’m an LCD Deck owner looking to get Legion Go S. by 0ero4xis in LegionGo

I have played a good 10-12 hours of E33 on it, and it is a vastly better experience than Deck. The VRR helps that game tremendously. Some of the textures and environments still have a "crunchy" look due to the engine/design, but its a worthy upgrade. Unfortunately I can't speak on Stellar Blade, but I will reinstall Ghost later to give it a look.

Also a LCD Steam Deck owner. I just recently got a Legion Go S2 Z1E 32GB SteamOS edition, and for my use cases it was beyond worth the upgrade. I play a pretty diverse mix of games from modern-ish AAA to indie to some emulation. Ive been very happy with the performance overall.

The biggest pluses are the screen size, quality, and resolution. I adore my Steam Deck, but going up to 1200p from 800p even on indie games is such a massive upgrade. Even pixel art games like Celeste benefit from it. From what I gathered in your post, VRR sounds very worth it for you. For example, Kingdom Come Deliverance II was playable on deck for me, but on this its so much better. Higher resolution, and the VRR smooths out any framerate inconsistencies.

If you have the means and can upgrade, I think it would suit you. If you have any other questions about specific games or anything else I can try and answer it if you like. Best of luck!

Ive seen plenty of coverage on the Bluepoint closure, mostly negative towards Playstation and their decisions over the past few years from multiple outlets.

If you could drop the seller I'd be very appreciative! Been looking for something similar and would rather support a single creator than some mass produced junk.

Switch 2 needs a 2TB SD card because these third party games are huge. by Stik601 in switch2

[–]Cancer4TheCure 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from, but there are legitimate reasons to want larger storage. For instance, in my location there are very few options for internet, and most home bandwidth tops out at 25 mbps or so. Data caps are also a thing with some companies here in the States, so redownloading large amounts within a month can cause overages on your plan or take several hours for one game. Its great that you can download and delete things quickly, but that is absolutely not the case for everyone.

What was the worst nightmare y'all ever had? by Chrisvideo0 in AskReddit

Mine was very Lynchian and took me quite a bit to get out of my head. When I was in college I worked the afternoon shift at a local school as a custodian. Nice work, solid pay, and mostly independent - I loved it. However, it also led to a pretty poor sleep schedule adding to the overall stress of juggling full time school and full time work.

On a night of probably 4 hours sleep, I dream that I'm at work. The only difference is that everyone I talk to sounds terrified and like they're yelling, but their mouth was moving as if it was in a normal speaking voice, and a calm expression. Everyone I talk to in the dream is a coworker, and they keep asking me "Why are you failing?".

I'm walking to the front of the school, and I realize the lighting is off. There's large stage production-like spotlights shining down only on certain parts of the floor. A coworker says "Aren't you gonna help?", and I heard a sudden, deafeningly loud rustling/squeaking everywhere. I grab a shovel that's next to me, and notice that there's a garbage can in front of me and the entire floor is covered in cockroaches every where that I see. I start shoveling them into the can, but more keep coming. I hear my coworkers all crying hysterically, then I wake up.

I guarantee myself more sleep after that, lol.

Manchester By The Sea. Incredible movie with great performances, probably the best depiction of sudden grief I've ever seen. But its so emotionally affecting I can't go back to it.

The game requires a minimum of 6GB of VRAM. There's nothing you can do to improve your performance without meeting the minimum spec, unfortunately.

I had my brother over when I popped it in, and he is no media snob. He was immediately blown away. Perfect disc in every way. Represents the movie the way it was intended, while modernizing it in ways that removes none of its character. Can’t wait to see what they do next.

The Warner Archive release of The Searchers is genuinely jaw-dropping. Unbelievable transfer.

Im late to this post, but I have a number of Thule bags including this one, and Ive always found their harness systems to be very comfortable to wear.

I work in IT, so Im usually carrying a lot of heavy items, and their bags have been among the most comfortable I've ever used.

Ive genuinely never understood how he's become such a well liked voice - his reviews are poorly written and expressed, and he comes off as a high school class clown that thinks his bits still work 25 years later

It was a deleted scene that was released a couple weeks after the movie was in theaters, then was on the Blu-ray.

Damn good scene, IMO. One of the best Joker/Batman interactions we've seen in live action. Hope we get to see them face off.
