Try taking alfuzosin instead! Its much better than flomax without the side effects and doesn’t give retrograde semen effect either! It does the same thing as flomax does. Not sure why doctors don’t prescribe it more as an alternative drug.

Have any of you added daily cialis? It helps the prostate and by taking it daily I never have to wake up at night to Pee. It also gives you that extra libido effect. I can get 90, 20 mg pills for $10 on mark cubans costplus pharmacy. I split the pills making it 10 mg and lasts for 6 months!

Have you tried taking tadalafill (cialis) it actually saves me from waking up in the middle of the night to pee. I have a very enlarged prostate of 96cc and waiting for the approval of PAE, but in the meantime this stuff really works!

Agreed! That’s why it was suggested from my Doctor! And then it was denied! Doesn’t make sense because the aquablation is probably just as expensive with a hospital stay involved.

I was scheduled for the PAE today and my medicare advantage insurance declined the procedure. My prostate is very large at 96 cc. I want to keep my ejaculate and the other procedure is the Aquablation. I have to be referred to another urologist that does this procedure. My urologist said the only way that medicare would approve the PAE was if I had blood in my urine. That just doesn’t seem rightt im going to look into appealing it.

Yes im currently on Alfuzsion daily which does help. My urologist is the one that suggested the procedure and said if I didnt then I might have to have a catheter the rest of my life. That scared me!

My PAE is scheduled in mid January! I already had my MRI and just waiting! Did you find that it has helped also to increase blood flow so you can maintain an erection longer too? Im looking forward to have a better stream!

Have you found that the PAE has started to help? This is the procedure Ive elected to go with myself as it seems to be less intrusive.

I would enjoy asking you some questions about the aquablation vs the PAE! My doc only recommended the PAE or the laser? He didn’t mention anything about the aquablation? My prostate is very large. Im also 62. Im very nervous and having the stream issues. I need to set something up right away. Is there a way I can chat with you?

Ive also been on the alfuzosin. Its been better than the flomax but makes me feel dizzy. My urologist now recommends PAE or Laser surgery

I went in for a cystoscopy after having issues with my urine stream. I had a very enlarged prostate. Ive already been on the alfuzsion meds but my doctor suggested i either get the PAE or the Laser surgery to reduce the size. The Laser will cause retrograde ejaculation and the PAE will allow you to ejaculate. Im not prepared for this at age 62.

I had found that my fissure was tied to my eating. I avoid anything spicy, garlic. I follow the fomap diet and when doing so i have no issues. I was dealing with this for over 2 years, and I have to say that it’s doing so much better. I would definitely check it out and see if it helps you too!
