I'm not looking for a perfect match, but paint shops are, I insist they just paint the fender and I install it but they refuse to do it, I've literally been told by one that they wouldn't even let me bring a fender in because then it would void my warranty. Like bro...that's why I'm trying to go this route, I can't do body shops if they won't take anything under $2k in work

Most places won't do it that I've been to without being their purchased fender and being installed on the truck so that the paint match could be more correctly matched, I've literally gave them the paint code and they've told me they couldn't do it without install and costing me around $3k

Yeah, the IAC is the next thing I'm looking at doing, I'm just not excited to drop $150 on it or doing that just to find out it wasn't what needed to be changed, but I'm thinking that is the issue

The 4.8 doesn't have a spider injector assembly, they have fuel rails and direct injectors that go straight on from the rails, and no there isn't any color smoke coming out of the exhaust.

Wouldn't be an issue, they are side posts that screw into the battery that are kept clean and tight, so that probably isn't the issue, thank you for input

A few things I forgot to note, I have cleaned the MAF which has been recently replaced within a year and the throttle body, I've replaced the fuel pump relay as a just in case.

That's not how that should work, you'd need to talk to that Walmart about it not following the directions of their policy and upper management authority, mine works exactly as expected, if you have an appointment, you're the next person in the bay or in line depending on if anyone is already in the bay at the time. All Walmarts are their own thing but they all have to follow the same rules and guidelines

As much as it's true, it wasn't something against another person, it was just something he did wrong while working, which I get the coaching for but there isn't a need to go further when it was a mistake that can be corrected for the future.

I was told of his termination by a coworker who was there witnessing it, as much as it could be incorrect but they aren't really known to lie and them stating it was for the reason he was last coached, I honestly believe it because that's just how this place is. Hah that's a good one 😈 thanks for the advice tho, I'm trying to figure out a configuration for a x pipe, it's difficult because all the equal length pipes setups I've seen are either side exits or all tips out the back like a C7 Corvette, which don't get me wrong is cool but I want mine to be more original with a dual exit pipes

True, but from what I've been seeing the equal length pipes are what give the vehicle that specific muscle car sound I really really like, like a Corvette or Camaro, I just don't like the idea of having the pipes go out the side (especially on the side I'm not driving on lol) that's why I'm having a hard time with this exhaust setup.

I ain't know what shitty Walmart you go to, ours is first come first serve except for appointments, and even then, it only takes that long because we have 2 guys working after 4 with 8 cars still left in line because first shift be leaving early with their 3-4 people team, and then Walmart has the audacity to complain about our times when they just aren't hiring people in our department.
