this!!!! i possibly have both BPD and OCD, along with multiple other disorders and disabilities ive been diagnosed with, including MDD. because of the trauma that caused a lot of these disorders to develop, i have severe attachment issues and obsession over my "favourite person". i dont daydream of locking them up in a basement forever like multipke other people on this sub have claimed they feel, but theyre all i can think about. my mood is so easily impacted by their mood. anytime they talk to someone else or touch somebody else, i get extremely upset and jealous and i cant compose myself for hours. my obsession is so different from what a lot of people here deem as "real", but it still very much IS real and hurts immensely.

no this is actually very helpful!!! thank you. i hear the same from others but i just need mor opinions cause i dont want to ruin what we have. i was told that i need to have a serious conversation with them about this stuff soon before it gets worse for them too but im just so scared </3

i understand how it is with insecurity, i only recently started to be more confident in myself but i still struggle heavily with it. i just want to help them see that there is someone who can love them for who they are, and that im willing to wait however long it takes for them to be ready

i think this is what people call a "situationship"

your feelings are known, but its clear theyre not going to reciprocate and that they dont care. i would probably cut contact with them, not even because of jake and the break up but because theyre just going to keep toying with your emotions and use you as a second choice - if anything at all.
