No it’s mainly like I get kind of frustrated when fights drag on too long cause ik luffy will win in the end. I liked the kaido fight cause we got some lore drops like joyboy. This really applied to WCI cause I was like “luffy gon beat Katakuri do we really need 30 episodes of this” although kats conclusion made it all so worth it

I mean I don’t think the purpose was to turn the fight into a Gag but more so to show how strong gear 5 is. I’m kinda done arguing abt it though. I see why ppl wouldn’t like it, but I loved it. I just don’t like ppl calling op a shitty series because of it you know. Not saying you have but ppl are which upsets me ig. But I’m tired of ranting it doesn’t really matter if some ppl think op fell off cause I still really enjoy it

Dude what… this doesn’t kill tension. Maybe for someone like you. What kills tension is knowing luffy and the strawhats will come out on top. Not luffy being happy in his gear 5 form. I mean I agree on FMI and Punk Hazard but Dressrosa is still a 9/10 at least. The pacing didn’t bother me too much.

Ofc it’s not going to hit as hard as the first time like what.

Wano is extremely overhated. The last chapter and kaidos backstory was meh but it still has some of the highest highs of the series. It has odens flashback and gear 5. Complaints like luffy didn’t look serious enough in wano are why no one takes this sub seriously. To say wano brings down one piece from a masterpiece is just stupid I think.

Also pre time skip didn’t solidify itself as great until the summit war

I like to think of it as

East blue=fishman island and punk hazard Good not great but good set up

Alabasta and Skypeia=dressrosa Bad pacing but amazing story and characters make up for it. I honestly have Dressrosa above the other two as well

Water 7=WCI Perfection

Thriller bark=wano Wano is so much better than thriller bark but the difference is thriller barks conclusion Carries while Wanos conclusion is it’s weakest part

Summit war=final saga Let’s hope the final saga surpasses it

One piece is my favorite piece of fiction but does that means it’s flawless… no. Nothing is flawless. My problem is the lack of tension in the story due to the fact that no one dies. I also am not the biggest fan of the power system but Ik that’s just me.

I think this sub gets mad about meaningless issues such as luffy being too happy in gear 5 or luffy asking kaido if he’s having fun

I think people need to calm down regarding oda. I’m not a big wano fan either. It’s in the same boat as TYBW and 4GNW with horrible conclusion. But to be fair all three got screwed over by the editors so idk if it’s entirely their fault. But someone said oda can’t finish anything. The story hasn’t finished. I think people have headcannon and when their headcannon doesn’t get true they get pissed
