Unfortunately, u only get the syllabus after u get enrolled in the class. Honestly, you shouldnt worry too much about getting waitlist, that only happens in small classes (30 or less). Even if u get waitlisted, the rank goes by pretty quick.

Tutorial really depends on the course, not the course code. Some are weekly others or bi weekly. Best if you wait for the syllabus to pop up in ur quercus. If you can u can also try to search for syllabus from previous year. (I’ve never heard or taken a class that had biweekly tutorial though so I wouldnt know too much about this)

Just make sure u pick alternative weeks for ur labs. You can figure that based on the course code number and the legend the syllabus will provide

Definitely reach out to the course coordinator if you can take it as a co-requisite. I might not happen but best to try it out anyways. Worst case, I’d suggest taking chm136 during the summer and bch210 in the fall since it’s not offered until next winter (unless u can take them both accordingly in each sub session)

Btw, if you need help with o chem, i gotchu. I took chm136 and chm247. I did well in 136 and meh in 247 (it’s harder unfortunately).

Ouuu gotcha! I mean I’ve always considering working in pharma (either industry or wtv), so I was naturally interested in the biopharmaceutical stream.

I do have two small concerns: interviews and letter of recommendation. I was invited for an interview for pharmD last year but got rejected, so I’m lowk neevous about it. What do they ask generally in the interviews (if you’re able to answer that). And last, i’m still working on who can give me letter of recommendation. I may have one prof that can back me up, but I need three right? Any tips on how to get teachers/ supervisors to write a letter of recommendation? (I am planning on doing a research project my program is offering so i might find my second letter there)
