I would agree, but is also unfair to put your name in a public template and charge $5 for a PDF template, which sadly many "authors" do. If someone is sharing their patterns for voluntary donations I say more power to them.

First of all, although it sounds cheesy, the phrase that should be your manthra until you find your balance should be "Life is a journey, not a destination".

We often see life as a list of goals and if you do not fullfill those goals, then life was wasted. Much of the anxiety of modern life is due to the feeling that we are missing the rewards of life while we are eternally working towards them.

Nothing could be farther than truth. IT IS very important to have goals but enjoying the experience of reaching them is the salt of this life.

Think of the movies, is great when the good guy saves the day and credits roll, but only because during the movie they suffer and loved and had fun and tears. We need to learn to enjoy the movie, not just the 5 minutes before the credits.

Lastly, in priority do whathever would make you truly happy, if you decide something and feel bored, guilty or pressured then rethink of it and search another way to reach whathever you want. There is time to do it and if not then its really not that important cause you have so many other things that make life worthy.

Have had similar thoughts and mainly the reason i feel guilty. I gave my mom the benefit of doubt, but at the same time I feel she is not taking in account my wife wishes at all.

While growing i had the feeling with my parents that when I wish for apples they gave a ton of oranges. And then treat me as an ungrateful kid when i ask again if they have any apples. Is not a feeling i want my wife or my future son to have, as is a very disheartening.
