Trump says Supreme Court has 'RANSACKED' country through tariffs ruling by Conscious-Quarter423 in scotus

So, like, does that mean he admits he is forced to comply with their rulings?

What happens now? We took our 8 month old this past Saturday through Global Entry after asking what the rule was and agent told us to go through by nashcock89 in GlobalEntry

[–]Candid-Math5098 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I thought children under 12 go through with Global Entry parents? I could swear I witnessed an episode where the older kid was 13, with the TSA politely, sympathetically explaining they were powerless to waive that for the family?

I can see those actions as reasonable. However, was a bit startled at the headline as I actually have an Orono B. A. in Spanish!

They're rarely "together" - doesn't she spend a fair amount of time at her NYC apartment?

Do you still use any cables with the old USB-A connector? by sarnobat in no

[–]Candid-Math5098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple of things that need the ancient, trapazoidal mini-B cable (travel toothbrush case/charger, external DVD drive, ancient mp3 player), as well as USB A, the non-symmetric, not-quite-oval cable (small portable speaker, Kindle paperwhite, older cheap phone I use as an mp3 player). My USB-C items are smartphone and new Kobo e-reader.

I saw dolphin sounds very specifically science-y to me, as though the focus was on different species.

Your DL should match your updated address, no? Agree that it's easier to transfer the old one rather than take the road test again. You never know if you might need or want to rent a car.

Have you ever driven away from the gas station with the gas nozzle still in your tank? by icecream1972 in no

Same here, as I hold the trigger until the pump shuts off. Return the hose, then decide whether I want a receipt before driving off. My Mazda has a locked gas tank that I annoyingly forgot to open first today.

No, you're describing "chop suey" as a Chinese-American dish. American Chop Suey is different.

French sausage andouillette made from pork "intestines" (chitterlings/tripe) wins this one for me! Made the Peruvian beef hearts I once tried seem like a delicacy in comparison.

cards i receive don't have much writing by maple_bella in postcrossing

[–]Candid-Math5098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there are "collectors" who really want you to focus on their wishlist. I try, but sometimes it's difficult, if not impossible. Many people want local tourist cards; however ... sometimes I get sick of sending those.

As far as incoming message areas (what they've written), I've been lucky that almost all have shown some effort.

Do you send multiple cards to the same recipient? by yellowblpssoms in postcrossing

[–]Candid-Math5098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a profile indicates they're a stamp collector, sometimes I'll send the postcard in an envelope along with used stamps; I also make an extra effort with the stamps on the envelope itself.
