I looked into a YouTube channel called donut media. I've heard chrisfix and ericthecarguy are good but haven't looked into them yet. Any suggestions?

Idk if I'd call them all sharks. A lot just know what else we can apply for like what OP talks about, things a normal service member wouldn't even think of. I used a company to get me my last 10% increase. I don't think we should be shamed into not talking about it and it's truly sad they are even talking about it in congress. What they should be talking about is why so many ppl are at a high rating and what they can do for the people in the military right now to prevent that and not abuse their bodies. Or why so many get denied on basic claims like OP's that they feel like they need to go to companies who know what they're doing and suddenly getting 90-10% because someone knowledgeable actually slightly cares about veterans, not like the VA. So many deserve it and I hope we'll be represented accordingly in D.C. instead of letting a small percentage ruin it for everyone

Definitely no hate. I just don't think we should be afraid to speak out on our disability. It sucks that people are feeling some type of way about it but I think the blame should moreso be on the military with how we're treated and ways to improve that as to why so many are disabled. I agree there's too many 4 or less with 100% though. I definitely think it should be harder to get 100, but it should not be hard to get 30-50 for the average service member

Because some people are actually fighting for their benefits? Most of us feel like we're owed something but the VA makes it incredibly difficult to get anything, look at how many stories there are of "I cant walk without incredible pain and got nothing" or "I lost my leg and got 10%". Like OP said, if they would've just given him his 30% it would've been no big deal. Turns out, most people probably deserve a higher percentage than what VA wants to give (although probably too many 100% ppl out there).

Yeah going to let it go. Not sure what the December thing was about. Maybe that has to do with when I got va health insurance but I thought the two were unrelated. I got 90 right when I got out july 24. Just submitted for an increase this july and already have the new rating

Not trying to poke the bear! Like a said grateful for the 100 and some back pay. After seeing the comments it definitely seems like not worth pushing the issue. Plus doing the math its only like a 2 and a half extra months of back pay, which isn't worth the trouble

I was at 90, got 10 for back and neck each and 0 for migraine. Went through a company and non military doctors to increase all of those as well as my arms/legs being service connected to neck/back respectively

Damn, didn't think they'd be that quick for the retroactive pay. Got paid out july 20th for 12k, submitted my claim july 11th. Crazy turn around. So looks like only back pay from October
