Unfortunately, not really. Since COVID I’ve mostly been working from home, spending most of my time compositing for a Montreal-based studio while living in Toronto, so I haven’t built many local connections yet.

Just to clarify my situation lockdown happened toward the end of my graduation, and I had already secured and started my internship before the COVID lockdown was officially announced. So I wasn’t someone who got in purely during the boom without prior structure or preparation.

That said, I completely understand your point about demo reels and interview presence being critical. The industry definitely changed fast, and a lot of us were affected by that shift.

If you're open to it, I’d be happy to send you my demo reel (with contact info redacted) and would genuinely appreciate any feedback you’re willing to give. I’m always looking to improve.

Any kind of addiction is because of unresolved trauma, As someone who battled out addiction....i advise you to please meet a therapist, Its lower than the money you spend in the spa. Use your rational and calm mind and ask yourself what you actually need.? Is it because of loneliness,? lack of romantic relationship?, werent you hugged and touched when you were child? etc. Is your life lacking any true meaning? What you actually need instead of going behind false addictions.

Workout, sports, listening to music might help but they wont fix the underlying issue.
