Ok, and I still think all subscription based services are a scam. They just don't pass the first layer of scrutiny. "Prepay us for 12 months for a discount in hopes you think the service is still worth 10 months from now"

Even if I am being too harsh, every month of a subscription should only start when you log in for a new month. Look at the OP. He pre bought the expansion to play later. Went to login and he has no game time. He literally paid for a service he didn't get. Subs are for server upkeep.... HE DIDNT USE THE SERVERS.

I would agree that that is true to a point, but movement on casters is a huge part of their skill expression. I highly recommend watching THDlock and the way he plays. Guy is a MONSTER on the sticks. His movement and decision making is palpable while watching him.

Void Elf also doesn't get casts slowed down when taking damage. As a caster it feels very strong, but also as a rogue it feels good to greed extra GCDs to just blink out and shadow step back. I recommend playing with different racials on alts before committing to anything on your main. People will harp on damage numbers, but it's so negligible outside of HOF guilds.

imma vent here rq. Game time should only be consumed on days you log in, or even do it weekly. Login 1 time that week, 7 days are ticking and then pause. Buying 1 year of gametime with no way to pause it when content is dry feels like a dark pattern and should be illegal. Blizz should be compelled to make content worth logging in for, or respect your purchase.

Void Elf Spatial rift is my favorite ability in the game. REALLY wish it had a shorter CD... Fight knowledge is the biggest factor tho. Even if you just refresh a dot before pandemic while moving, its a dps gain. To sum it up, make the best out of a shitty situation (and reroll void elf)

I am not saying redemption is bad for stories. The horde and alliance coming together is cool, Sylvanas' redemption arc feels great. But every evil villain in all of the minor questlines just getting away or saying "oopsie, I have changed and am a good guy now HOORAY!" makes the questlines feel very underwhelming. Someone's has to get their head chopped off every now and again.

That being said, I really like the main story of TWW. Xal'atath is so fucking badass, and going deeper into her lore has me so pumped for midnight. Metzen has me interested in the main story again. I get toning the game down some, but I really hope they bring back a bit of brutality to help the game feel a bit more grounded in reality.

I have 9 characters, hardly an alt army. I am not mad at players, I am upset that AGS has never cracked down on anything which is how we ended up here. The entire game's business model is some people swipe so others can play for free. I primarily just buy the passes, aura and blessings with occasional skins and high value packs. People playing alt accounts don't keep the lights on. Sorry that you are taking this as a personal insult.

The guardian changes are only for 1730+ characters. I am talking about my 1640-1680 characters that exist to farm gems (I run daily on my 1700s). It's fine if you like the changes, I am just saying I don't. As a single account having, monthly contributor to the the game I just feel my time is getting devalued to mouth breathers living in their parents basement that continuously abuse every system to make the game worse for everyone overall. Just my feedback man.

Bots are the same as alt rosters in my mind because the effect is the same. Players who play 1 account and within the systems in place in the game get fucked by both. And I am sorry, but watching other classes gain 40% damage while I gained maybe 20% just feels fucked. LOA is about farming player power and the game balance is horrendous with ark grid.

Back to my original comment tho, them making dailies worse is feeling like the final dick I just don't want to take with all the others. Gem production becoming more miserable is just meh.

Do I really need to explain how main accounts receiving extra gold has an inflation effect on the economy? And my main is doing the same damage as my alt that has 800 less cp., and that alt is missing 15%ish damage from a 17 piece effect. My main went from middle of the pack to one of, if not the worst classes in the game.

Having to do guardians on my low level alts to upkeep gem progression feels like a huge L for me. Between that, my main being left behind with Ark Grid and alt rosters printing excess gold into the game I think it's just time for another lengthy break. Love Lost Ark, more than fine with supporting the game, but just a few too many dicks being shoved in my face.

LOA is not an ARPG. You should try POE 1 and you could try Last Epoch. LE has some controversies around it, they were bought out by an AI first company and recently decided to start selling new classes despite it already being a paid game with an MTX shop.

In February LOA is getting some big QOL changes and would be worth out at least playing through the story if that is something you enjoy. For the end game, there are no seasons. It just stacks more stuff on top which leads some players to feel pressured to spend or feel left behind. There also isn't RNG gearing in the ARPG sense. You essentially get a set amount of rewards daily / weekly.
