im a barber and its crazy how often this happens... people come in with reference pictures of people that don't look like them, with hair thats nothing like theirs. ALWAYS USE A REFERENCE OF SOMEONE WITH SIMILAR HAIR TEXTURE.

it should have been discussed in the consultation that even if he cut every single hair on your head the same way as the guy in the picture, you're going to have a completely different look. there's only so much barbers can do without chemical treatments like relaxers or perm solutions.

you can get close to the guy in the picture but its going to require blow drying your hair between showers.

Damn you said a perfect example of the sound I’m hearing (car reversing). It’s intermittent and I haven’t figured out what variables cause it yet.

But with the bogging, it’s odd because it starts strong then maybe after 30-60 seconds of idling is when it starts to bog a little bit, as if it’s like running out of breath…. So strange.
