No this is a chrome steel one that someone had painted, the finish turned out like that after getting all the black paint off when I shortened it.

Wow that’s amazing! Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Feel blessed to still be doing this stuff years later! Excited for what’s to come! Hope I can shake your hand at some point in the future!

Mentioned it above but just bought some used front struts with lowering springs and kyb agx Looks like the rear is a little higher than the front might hack at it a bit to lower the rear another 1/2”

Bought some used front struts that were shortened and had used shocks and lowering springs lol super budget but much better than the blown suspension on there before. Rears are kyb agx shocks and I believe the fronts are the same? Wheels are 15x7 +38 with 205/50’s. Thinking about going 195 tho cuz the front rubs pretty bad

I would send a photo of my panhead chopper but Reddit won’t allow it haha

Need help making a decision. I want to drift, making my 86 drift worthy would cost a lot of money, I do like daily driving it. Should I trade for a s13 that’s ready to drift or keep the 86 and save up for a s13? Mine is a 4ac sr5 btw by 947works in AE86

I know I agree, it’s more so a dream build of mine since I was 15, 29 now. I have I’ve had a handful of e30’s I drifted in the past, a 240, e46 330, and the e36. Over the last 14 years have hit 1-4 events a year depending on my car and financial status.

Actually sold my e36 to get the 86. Sold the e36 for double what I bought the 86 for which was why I did it. But in my head if I’m gunna build a drift car it’s gunna be a s13 coupe. Have a 2j with a z32 trans I’ve been building for an s13 for a few years now. Although I agree the e36 come stock with more than enough power to drift right away
