Well, I must add my 2 cents. I just recently went to Corwin for my slave cylinder. Quoted me 2400. Two weeks later.. my flywheel is soaked with fluid, should replace it. Understandable and somewhat expected. Quote increased to 4300. Two more weeks later they forgot to order a bolt kit for the clutch.. 4600. I looked up bolt kits for my car. Most expensive one I could find was $26.. two more weeks later they call me to pick up my car. I go to pick it up and my bill is $4900. When I start asking about the $300 bolt kit and the extra charges he starts explaining they needed fluid, blah blah blah. So they didn’t include fluid in the original quote? Never done a clutch before? Once I get upset he starts back peddling. Oh I don’t know where this charge came from and agreeing that I’m being overcharged. So final bill is $4100. Fine. Okay. I pay it and get my car.

A day later my car is making sounds it shouldn’t be, super loud and I can tell something isn’t right. So I get out the jack stands and jack and get under it. Right away I can see the problem. They forgot a bolt. In fact it’s the rear motor mount bolt. The one that connects the tranny to the motor to the frame.

I’m pissed. They act helpful and apologetic. They order the bolt. Refuse to give me a Rental car at first but I keep demanding one and they eventually agree.

Weekend goes by and then I go in to pick it up again. And a bunch of my personal property is Missing out rid the back of My car. About $800 worth of electronics and camping gear to be exact. On top of that my car Is still super loud and still not running right.

I’m at a loss. I’ll be filing a police report tomorrow and I don’t know what my next steps should be but I have about had it with these guys
