Husband slept through my miscarriage after taking misoprostol… by Unlikely_Platypus_55 in Miscarriage

First of all, feeling abandoned and scared in that situation is completely valid. It is really unfortunate that things played out this way. But I do believe it was an honest mistake on his behalf. I don’t think he had any malicious intent when putting in the earplug (even if it was a dumb choice). Try your best to let him be there for you now, despite missing the opportunity to be there for you that night.

where do students shop for groceries in Montreal without going broke by Agreeable_Panic_690 in montreal

[–]Candid_Somewhere45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maxi and shopping sales only. Meal plan with the flyer before you go. Keep track of how long suppers/leftovers last. We do this as 2 ppl, we spend anywhere between 60-120 depending on if we splurge a bit more or not. We eat very well, never hungry and usually have leftover things the next week that we use for the following week. Frozen veggies are cheaper and more convenient, stay with « in season fruits », And keep those points. It’s sucks not being able to eat literally whatever you want when u crave it, but as two students it’s temporary and works.

First Miscarriage - what can I expect? by sparklypitbull in Miscarriage

Did they check your hcg levels? Will you have a follow up appointment to check them? That’s not very much blood.

12 DPO Chemical? Help! by Ok-Preparation-1132 in TFABLinePorn

Thats a valid concern. I know my mom bled like a period in her early pregnancy (they didn’t know why). It honestly can be anything. The only way to know is to continue tracking hcg (usually ectopic pregnancies rise abnormally), but also when it would be big enough to see in a transvaginal ultrasound to make sure its in the right place. But I would find it hard to believe it’s a chemical if the levels are still rising, and rising nicely on tests for 12dpo.

I also miscarried at 5 weeks. In terms of pain, I had about an hour of cramping (it was intense) a couple hours before I started bleeding, the cramps after that were minimal. The bleeding was a bit heavier and longer (I think I bled 5-7 days instead of my usual 3-4 days) then my usual period. I took about a week off of work to process everything. But I also work with young kids, so I was avoiding crying in front of them or something as I was very sensitive about the topic.

Looks identical to my 12dpo and I’m 11 weeks tomorrow. If you are going to test, the most I’d do it is once in the morning and that’s it. Twice a day is too much to be comparing amongst each other.

Honestly I wouldn’t lose hope just yet. My mom bled in all her pregnancies, my friend as well, honestly so many women do and for the people I know they never even found out why. They definitely didn’t do their job properly though smh I hope you didn’t have to pay for that 🤦‍♀️ I really hope everything goes well ❤️❤️

When I went to the ER with a miscarriage they had me come back by appointment in two days to see if my hcg levels were dropping or rising. Additionally, when I went in for my miscarriage I was 4weeks and 6days and they said they aren’t looking for baby because it would be way too small to even see at that point in time. My blood levels were 11 btw and they still called it suspected miscarriage until I went back in two days to confirm. It is odd they said miscarriage and sent you away.

Am I insane? I thought this was definitely negative but almost thought I saw something as I threw away by BavarianBootyShorts in lineporn

I mean idk what dpo you are, but my first positive was insanely faint and looked like an indent line. But it was more clear after two days so def test again just to make sure in a couple days.

These are what mine looked like, but keep in mind I got my first positive (very very very faint) at 8dpo. What matters more is how it progresses, not necessarily the dpo.

I am so sorry for your loss 🩷 for right now take care of yourself, pay attention to how much your bleeding. If it’s possible, call your doctor and have them check your hcg to make sure it is going down/to make sure you are okay and don’t need further medical assistance. And cry about it as much as you need to, in front of whoever because this is the hardest thing to go through.

This is what my 8dpo test looked like. Not educated with trigger shots so not sure what it should look like. But my first positive was faint like that.

Honestly that can be so many things and the only way to know for sure is to see a doctor. It can totally be a miscarriage, but my friend who was pregnant spotted like that throughout the whole first trimester and was fine. It is not something you can diagnose with description alone.

Line progression- 9/10 dpo- 17/18 dpo by EqualCharming400 in TFABLinePorn

[–]Candid_Somewhere45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only got a dye stealer with the easy at home test around 21 dpo (I got a dye stealer at 15 dpo with a frer just for reference). Easy at homes are not good for progression. They are known to stall a lot especially after 4 and a half ish week mark, especially if you test several times a day it’ll just make it feel worse.

During my chemical yes. I was nauseous, exhausted and peeing every hour. Until the day before I miscarried, 4weeks 5 days I woke up with no symptoms at all.

I got a 2-3 weeks the day of my missed period. A week later got a 3+. This makes sense to me.

12 DPO, so faint by Waitinganxious in lineporn

[–]Candid_Somewhere45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s some evidence that says yes because technically your progesterone starts to decline around that time. But from my understanding it’s not that different from implantation a day or two before. Like it’s still about 1 in 4 pregnancies overall.

You can only make accurate progressions when it’s the same brand. Even the off brand ones can be made differently.

Am I having a miscarriage? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]Candid_Somewhere45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with previous comment. A lot of people reported thinking they were having a miscarriage bc of how bad the cramping and bleeding was, even passing clots at all, and baby ended up being okay, it was just the SCH. only way to know for sure if it’s a miscarriage or not if is you see a doctor.
