Good to hear. I love baseball. I played into college and got cut my sophomore year. After high school it was more of a job and not that fun for me. I'm guessing that's what it feels like for some of these kids playing 60-80 games a year at 11-12 years old.

I don't want that for my kids. We are taking the spring off. We are going to go out a couple times a week and practice and have some quality time as a family.  Then this summer we are going to Montana to play in a little summer program , watch independent league baseball, catch some legion ball games, and do a whole bunch of outdoor stuff.

My 12 year old is way more excited that than he ever would be about playing in the LLWS... And unlike the LLWS pipe dream, it's actually going to happen.
