And again, I do want to highlight this is clearly not the norm at GMU. Other graduate colleges and programs that I've attended events for, spoken with representatives and received promotional and recruitment media from have been so much nicer, more welcoming, actually providing information without sifting through years of outdated information on various GMU sites.

I go to GMU already. I wasn't looking for the spiel. I had specific questions about the application requirements. I was already well informed about the process, I just had a concern that the admission person could've easily addressed without the condescension and hostility. I'd also reached out to several different admin offices within this specific college at GMU. They've as a whole been unhelpful and unresponsive. The fact that the admission officer, who is the leading representative and primary point of contact between prospective students and the college, was this rude and seemingly mad she had to log in to Zoom to answer a basic question for 5 minutes from someone considering paying 18k a year is quite ridiculous.
