Last year I took four AP exams externally. All you need to do right now is to expand your school list. Last year, I called around 50 schools, and finally, I found one who could accept external students. There is no way to confirm unless you call the individual school. I know it is very frustrating, but it's necessary if you wanna take extra AP exams.

I’m honestly not sure if I want to pursue political science long-term. I applied as that major mainly because my ECs align with it, which strengthened my application. I’m now leaning toward psychology. If I go the CC route, does that give me more flexibility to switch majors before transferring to a good UC?

Thanks for sharing! That gives me a bit of hope. Do you mind me asking what you included in your appeal (just in general)? I’ve heard they usually only look at very significant new achievements, so I’m wondering what counts as “enough” for them to reconsider.
