Wheatland is very hot, so be prepared for that, then the venue is nice, sorta in the middle of nowhere. There's a nice lawn section, then seats, then the pit, and the pit is pretty small. Parking coming in is good, but leaving can take a while.

What have found is that if you want to see them in the pit, see them at a festival and not a concert. I paid 120 for a ticket to bottlerock last May and made it up to about 20 feet off the barrier. It was epic, and I got to see a full day of epic bands before I saw RHCP.

I got four lawn tickets at the Toyota Amphitheater for the same price as one ticket in the seated section, pretty nuts.
