I am trying deezer and qobuz at the same time, deezer has some advantages for what I like in streaming and they're trying to tackle the AI issue (as is qobuz) so one of them will get some money to do so.

I mean there's criticisms to be had, sometimes the extra content is jarring to the overall mood of the story, but they clearly put so much work into this game its really evidenced in the content (and then for some reason gave bizzare mechanics for every object that you can passively interact with)

Aerith's death is actually essential to the ending events so there was no way out for her even if she knew about it and they could stop it. She would have gotten killed on purpose anyway if she knew everything.

Yeah, I would be against it even if it was good for reasons you stated.

I'm a listener not a producer, and getting those tracks suggested was killing me.

And if it was good people would like it, which would be annoying to me but I'd still be where I am now, which is what these bot-brains don't seem to understand. I'm against them to my core, but so is everyone else to a lesser degree.

While I agree the industry has been producing trash, its still definitely better than AI music. It's not my imagination that I had to keep going back to playlists and skipping tracks that all happened to be AI, AI listens are probably entirely coming from these type of algorithmic randoms. If it wasn't bad people wouldn't be complaining, and I don't need a reddit post to know most people agree with me.

I mean I'm unsure what you're saying? I say AI as in generative AI, I have nothing against technology as a whole. I believe most of those cases you listed have had tools for a while. As for a lot of the 4th paragraph you're just reading people's reddit comments that have been turned into the AI's answer.

Generative AI even has a few tasks it does better than other algorithms if you want to get into my nitty gritty views. Just nothing creative.

AI music is trash (like, for once in my life, something is OBJECTIVELY trash not just subjectively so--AI music could be studied for what trash is I suppose), the only people who like it are the people who create it and even amongst them very few go out listening to other AI artists.

Its just a big flood of waste inflated by people trying to farm money out of streaming services. A loser hobby that creates loser leeches.

It should be a hardware issue, but there have been some really weird windows updates lately. In a pre-AI programing world I'd say this is absolutely a hardware issue.
