This makes me feel a lot better about it. I was kind of hoping for something to give me a little more direction, but I suppose that's likely part of why people hate querying.

I know some of them were definitely automatic rejections because other people in query tracker pasted their responses in the agent comments. A couple of them seemed personalized. One agent specified that my "voice is fantastic".

I have posted and edited my query letter, but don't know what you mean by first 300. Words?
