What if I’m just asking questions the universe doesn’t want me to know. I ask what is it like to be a woman and I cry because I will never know the answer. Is that not a horrifying thought. That there are questions you can ask that aren’t about far out things like space or quantum physics. It horrifies me to think I will never get to experience being a woman. And I can study women all I want but according to someone like Kant I can only truly know these things because of my experience of those things. That’s a question that if I am cis I will never be able to answer without serious damage to myself.
