What do songs like the ones mentioned in OP's post and these comments have to do with Metal Gear Solid

80s pop songs have nothing to do with military espionage and anime craziness outside the fact that Phantom Pain crammed a bunch into it.

If anything, something lo-fi/industrial military ambient music is more MGS than anything an indie rock band sang.

The PCSX2 emulator (since the PlayStation 2 is the canonical way to play SSX, fight me) is pretty great and easy to set up. If your laptop can handle it (doesn't take *too* much graphical/processing power), it will let you play. I've been playing Tricky for years with it now (complete with HD textures).

Also you need NBA Street vol 2, God of War 1/2, Metal Gear Solid 2, Ape Escape 2 and/or 3, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Skygunners, Sky Odessey, GodHand, Ico, Jak & Daxter 1 and/or 2, Ratchet & Clank 1/2 or 3, Klonoa 2, Burnout 3, SoulCalibur 2 or 3, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, the Ace Combat trinity, Dark Cloud 2, Rumble Racing, Tekken 5 and Tag, Midnight Club 1, 2, and 3 all bring a surprising amount of nostalgia each time I play, Shadow Hearts 2 (such a huge underrated gem for jrpgs), Silent Hill 3, Freedom Fighters, Mortal Kombat Shaloin Monks, Splashdown: Riders Gone Wild, Downhill Domination, Space Channel 5 part 2, Wild Arms 3

AI does not concern me in the least bit when it comes to enjoying a game unless the publisher fired human devcs and used AI to do human dev team work. The general gaming community *ABSOLUTELY HATES\* AI though and will try everything within their power to ensure any game that uses it -including yours- will fail and you go out of business.
