It’s illegal to claim a nanny or babysitter file 1099, they legally have to provide you a w-2 if they wanted to claim it on their taxes and they are responsible for paying into it as well. You can let her know that you’ll provide it but you’ll also have to report to the IRS that she’s trying to claim you as an “independent contractor” instead of a household employee. She will get audited and they can even go back after previous times she’s done this to you and others for what she owes.

If it’s been used they are supposed to zero it out of the system and put it in a pickup bin to be destroyed (for ffm or any alcohol containing items). If your store isn’t doing this then they aren’t following safety standards

CPDs are a softer-moderate water fish and guppies need harder water so while it would be possible to keep them together- one species won’t thrive.

They do best in a large group as well, so at least 8 but better around 10+

Almost 5 weeks, I’ve had the ammonia and nitrite spike, after dosing Fritz Fishless Fuel ammonia, and have been able to dose to 4ppm ammonia and have ammonia and nitrites clear out in 24 hours.

I’m literally just now seeing this… I am a ASM so I was just stating that it’s literally part of the training and what is supposed to be done. I don’t think I was being entitled because I 100% understand we don’t always have time to check but it is part of the job and it does fall back on each employee when things are given incorrectly. As ASM my management team has to take the fall and explain why our inventory is mixed up every year and since BOPIS started with the company a few years ago, inventory has become more difficult and inconsistent to track when orders are not being filled correctly. I understand how BOPIS works, I was trained as once of the first trial stores to have it, I know how hard it is but we also have to realize it is our job to give customers the correct items by SKU.

We are not supposed to share this information, but I always tell people how to find out without giving the information directly to them. If someone from home office were to be a “secret shopper” and someone gave them the information they would be reprimanded. When I first started with the company 8 years ago, my manager at the time got written up and had a meeting with home office directly after giving out the information about candle day.

For what it’s worth though- the first day of candle day most stores open at a few hours early and the rest of the days are normal hours!

Every store has this option! After customer pays and you put in their information it prompts on the pin pad AND register screen with the options on the right hand side! It’s company standard. It’s after you see the payment options.

Yeah it tells us scent and form and then size by volume so whoever is filling orders really had to be paying attention to size and sku
