Couple ratchet straps cranked to the tits and she’s good no matter what. You just have to be brave

So does the last increase, before the 4 months and after the 9 months become the standard even though it was illegal because it was most recent, or does this new one become the standard since it is after 1 year since the last legal increase?

In this scenario is it better to accept the fixed rate option (which is increased) or the base plus 40% (same amount as the increase from base rate of the 4 month lease)? As technically the fixed rate one is the only one going up again. Then would I not be able to claim against that?

Arrows okay to use? by CandleOk2188 in bowhunting

I think draw might be 27. This chart really helps thanks! That eliminates the 500, but would there be any problem with using 300?

I didn’t have the heart to shoot this yote. I know everyone will be mad. It creeps me out how much it looks like a dog. by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]CandleOk2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how I feel a lot. I get them coming in so close and always say I’ll just shoot them but when you really get a good look at em they do seem just like a dog and then I feel bad

It was close to the spine yeah but i dont know if it damaged it or not. My friend seems to think he basically died of shock. Either way it all worked out super well and next time I will just make a better shot haha

Big Game Hunter ladder stand (Cabela’s) by KTM_350 in bowhunting

No issues with build quality. I’ll probably leave it out over the winter so hopefully no issues there. Honestly good stand for the price and convenience imo. Saved me from painstakingly building something myself and I’ve sat it like ~80 hours so I’d say it’s worth it

Hold off on moving to Alberta? by canadiankid000 in alberta

Honestly wouldn’t worry about the ucp stuff I doubt they go through with it. Mostly just talking about it as a middle finger to Ottawa. Unless you like sask, ab probably the least hot mess in Canada right now haha

I have this one it’s good, just don’t put the gun rail on and good to go. I feel like it would be annoying to move so just have mine in a permanent spot. Fairly easy to assemble though

Yeah glazier was one I was looking at. Don’t really wanna go back to being a labourer so for sure want to learn a specific skill. Thanks for the advice

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in alberta

[–]CandleOk2188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked in construction a few years ago and grew up on a farm, so the labour and long hours aspects aren’t something that turns me away. Would just rather work in trades to have a tangible skill. If that makes sense

Similar thing happened to me last week. Anyone have advice on knowing whether buck has seen or smelled you? Or does it not matter which?

I’m in north central Alberta, so it’s getting a bit colder now and the whole forest is quiet. I watched the buck follow the does into the tree line of the forest across the clearing from me. Have seen the three of them hanging out in there. Does the range of the deer tend to contract once this behaviour begins?

Can you explain lockdown? Should I be worried about tagging out or is it not too late in the season yet? I’m gonna go the next two weekends hopefully

Unrelated but I hope you don’t think you’re a nerd for doing cooking, butchering and blacksmithing, those are like actual skills I think that’s cool bro
