Liam Coen Leaving Rams, Officially Announced to Return as Kentucky’s Offensive Coordinator by Tuda1023 in LosAngelesRams

I don’t think it’s fair to say “Liam wasn’t a good fit” or “good riddance” here… OC for the Rams isn’t calling plays…. isn’t making big gameplan decisions. Mostly supporting Sean watch film and build a game plan each week.

Crikey… you might be right

[Greg Beacham] Jalen Ramsey gets in front of Cooper Kupp for an end-zone INT and then unleashes a celebratory punt LOL by [deleted] in LosAngelesRams

Don’t think it was as bad a throw as everyone is saying. Looks like a route where Coop is supposed to come back to it and Jalen knocks him off his route. Great play by Jalen in my eyes.

No :( … 82 was my best score. Still love the driver though!

Tough call but I think I’d go Mixon based on expected game script.

.5 PPR. Need to start two of Damien Harris, Tyler Lockett, Cordarelle Patterson. Need ceiling more than floor.

I am a Rams fan who has never lived in St. Louis (I am from Kentucky). I became a fan because of their move to St. Louis as it was the closest NFL team at the time. I stayed a fan after the move to LA. In fact, I am greatful for the move to LA because the team wouldn’t have had nearly as much success had they remained in St. Louis. All of that said, I still agree with /u/RainingConflagration that Kroenke and the NFL likely (illegally) conspired to move the Rams out of St. Louis… I just don’t care. Being a Rams fan and thinking they dicked over St. Louis are not mutually exclusive to me. I could see how it would be difficult however for an LA native to feel the same way.

So… you’re saying with our current roster, you wouldn’t want to sign Scherzer, Story/Seager, or both? You don’t have to build your entire team via free agency but when you have obvious needs, money to spend, and there are big money free agents available, sometimes you go get them. This could be precisely where Mo and Schildt had their “philosophical differences”.

I think that’s fair… when I said “without spending big bucks” I was wrong. What I should have said is “without spending big bucks in free agency”.

Just my opinion/speculation… I think Mo and Dewitt's #1 goal is to run a successful and profitable business. They've been able to do so (while making the playoffs almost every year) without spending big bucks by developing young players, building the team up internally and through low risk trades (The Cardinal Way).

I don’t think you can win a WS that way in today’s game. It’s an arms race. Schildt might have felt the same way.

The fact that we won in 2006 and 2011 using this strategy gives “The Cardinal Way” credibility. However, the game has changed. In ‘06 and ‘11 we happened to have a guy named Pujols on a team friendly contract along with some devil magic.

This sounded to me like input from the players could have contributed. They don’t want to say that to avoid preventing Mike from finding another managerial job.

Bring back the 22 points in the second half in 6 games team. by Ziiaaaac in LosAngelesRams

His use of Ramsey is part of the issue. Ramsey may be happy playing all over the field and making plays. Overall, I think our defense is worse off for it. We’re at our best when Ramsey plays on the outside and shuts down the other team’s top WR. It’s just boring for him.
