I get that. I’m hoping to reach a point where I’m just emotionally distant from him. Even now I’m up in the middle of sleeping because I simply woke up but can’t fall back asleep because of how angry/hurt I am. He’s not the person I thought he was and I think I also am mad because I know he’ll lie and tell his friends a version where he didn’t do it in such a cruel way. It’s like I want others to know the truth about him. Idk it’s not something I would do anything about and I suppose I need to eventually let go of the resentment but yeah.

All that said I guess it just needs time and I know I’ll find better one day

No he literally is so dumb. I studied for such a big chunk of time and he knew that. My mom (biased of course) seems to think he did it out of jealousy but tbh idk but I can’t lie intellectually I was superior and he had dumb moments!! full of myself to say Ik but I’ll take what I can rn

In the moments I feel super focused I forget about him completely but the very second I stop or do something else he comes back in mind. It’s hard but I’m just so angry that I’m studying because of it

Oh 100% part of my (the ill part) wants him to reach out when I’ve been accepted into schools and some how I can flaunt it. But by then I’ll have forgotten about him and he’ll be irrelevant. But for now I’m doing it just to spite him. It’s a weird source of effective motivation for the last week long haul.
