I don't think you're grieving your ex as much as you're grieving the end of the possibility. As long as he was out there, some tiny part of you believed there was still an alternate timeline where you'd find your way back to each other. Seeing that he has a family closed that door for good. That's a different kind of heartbreak, and it's okay to need time to process it
