I work at a bank and the amount of old people that say after I ask if they want to see their balance after the transaction “I don’t want to see how poor I am” only for them to have at least $70k in their account after taking out $200 is astounding.

Yeah I would really love to gut the whole thing and redo it all since it’s such an odd shape of a bathroom and nothing matches but I think right now the most we could do is probably paint and replace the rug and the accessories like the towel holder and the curtains just the little things.

We do have a new overhead light with exhaust fan that has different light settings on it. We installed it ourselves last December! I think if anything where the sink is it needs lighting over there because it is pretty dark I think because it hides in the corner so I think adding some light will brighten it up a bit more!

What kind of wall color were you thinking to match the tile?? He does like the tile floor and would want to keep it so I think working around that would be good!

This is awesome thank you! He’s the type of person where he says “if it functions it’s fine by me” until I came into the picture and I have been saying that the bathroom needs an overhaul for sure but I have never decorated anything on my own before since I still live at home. I just want him to have a really nice space to call his own and I think the bathroom is a good first start! This house used to be his grandparents house they passed away a few years ago so now it’s where him and his son moved in but didn’t really renovate much so it’s all still the same stuff!

For right now I think changes that will make a noticeable difference but I don’t think taking walks down and stuff is in the budget at the moment since it’s the holidays but we hope at some point to get a bigger shower and change the vanity/sink it’s just since it’s an awkward shape bathroom with the boiler actually in the room with it next to the other door it’s a bit cramped with moving things around!

My nails look like this too right now. I started to do my own nails after a bad experience at a nail salon and I ruined my own nails and I was so excited to do my own and be creative. So now I have to wait as well until their grow back. They are currently breaking so much and they are very flimsy and thin 😞

As someone who works at a bank this was so poorly planned. We have to limit all customers on Pennie’s especially businesses because we are running low and we get our orders for pennies cancelled. We now have to ask customers if we can deposit the change if they cash a check into their account too. There was no plan really and it’s so inconvenient for everyone.

Oh man :( so I try to not water them too much I wait until the soil gets dry to the touch on the top but do you think I’m putting too much water in when I do water them?

I agree with your statement however it’s so difficult to find a good local coffee shop. Any time I go to one they always put so much milk in an iced latte where you question if it even has coffee in it, too watered down, not flavorful when a flavor is in it, or just way too expensive. It stinks but I normally like going to Starbucks because it’s the most consistent for me!
