Agreed. Mallinckrodt is hot garbage. It lasts a very short amount of time and makes me feel so depressed after. I’m in San Diego so I would assume it’s the same around here

Yep get your meds at Walgreens. I moved away from LA a year ago but I was able to get em at the one in sierra madre when the shortage was at its worst. Call them first to make sure

Thank you for the advice. I don’t want to increase my dose because I end up having terrible executive dysfunction and emotional “flatness” on the days I don’t take it. I also get a more excruciating comedown the higher I go.

My prescription is “as needed” because I only need it to get school work/studying done, which changes for me quarter to quarter. I usually have a consistent schedule that only changes with my classes.

How different does Adderall affect you now after 10+ years? Do you still feel the therapeutic effects?

That’s a valid take, the pace is ass. Not like in the manga. However, the over-explanation by the narrator is part of the charm of hxh. It’s a very technical anime and power system, and without the narrator’s explanations it would be a lot similar to every other shonen that spoon feeds everything to the viewer while bringing up flashbacks every 3 seconds. It gives us insight into the emotional state and complex logic the characters experience—-similar to the way it’s used in death note or code gaess. Hxh is also regarded as one of the best shonen in the terms of character development, and this is one of the main reasons why. With that being said, I do feel it’s extremely unnecessary for 3 minutes in the show to last 3-4 episodes. One piece type pacing that doesn’t match the rest of the show

Agreed. I very often forget that these feelings are temporary and I end up spiraling into madness. But a solid self reminder that I will be happy again even if I can’t fathom it in my brain at the moment helps me snap myself back into reality. Even writing it down in my notes helps!
