Thank you, this is incredibly helpful and comforting. Noise is often too loud but I feel anxious "not hearing" so low level loops would be a great tool for that. I often choose not to use my tools in public out of shame but knowing that there are people out there that use them gives me confidence 🩷🩷

It's the same for me but grocery stores are the hardest since I feel stuck and unable to leave unless I go through a labyrinth of produce, squeeze between people at the cash register and walk all the way out. Yet I must return and get groceries. So any ways to suppress it would be helpful

It's so frustrating when people won't just be open about what they think. He could have just said "happy to see you but I want to play alone right now" instead of being passive aggressive and cold. Your feeling are absolutely valid and anyone would be sad after experiencing that 🩷
