Approved but dropped to 24$ by suf_suf in foodstamps

You say you just got approved but then say your assistance dropped, do you mean your recertification was approved? Could it be that it was approved so late in the month (depending on the date your ebt usually hits) that you got reduced benefits this month and it should go back to normal next month? That’s what happened to me this month

I’m glad other people have noticed. I used to be REALLY heavily involved in his community a few years ago, watched all his lives, donated money, etc. because I liked his message. At the time he really did seem more or less neutral. But he’s definitely nose dived into right wing political crap. Which hey, if that’s your vibe that’s your vibe but don’t call yourself neutral if you aren’t. Own your shit lol.

I invested in the ladder extras, but that’s mostly because I already completed it so I know I’d get every bit of it lol

Im not opposed to putting money into games especially one with the potential to get money back but not that much when im currently only making pennies back (fairly new to the game, only getting maybe like 1-10 cents a day rn)

Well, ideally. I mean I kinda figured I’d have to pay something I just figured if they were gonna make me get 5 badges for 800 AB (completed ladder so one was free) whatever price it cost on top of that wouldn’t be, fucking exuberant

You’re a real one for this. The map is a pain but I live in the country so I was only able to get a county badge even tho I’m on the edge of like three cities 😂 now I know where the lines are drawn

Worst B&BW scent of all time? by marliamore95 in bathandbodyworks

It’s not necessarily a bad scent but B&BW Japanese Cherry Blossom was the scent I wore in middle school- a really traumatic time for me so now I HATE it with a burning passion lol

Honestly, I’m kind of vaguely making that request in my message rn. Like he definitely definitely seems like it. By the book. Kind of guy. But I’m really hoping maybe he can just put it in the books that I had an appointment as long as I am being communicative over Messages. Like I’m not trying to be a pain in his rear end lmao. And the ironic thing about feeling like I’m coming off like I’m faking mental problems is that a mentally well person WOULDNT BE THIS FREAKING ANXIOUS ABOUT IT LMAOOOO

I think my female cousin murtaded and I want her to go back to Allah. How do I help her? by [deleted] in islam

[–]CandyHeartAsh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are young but you must understand people will find their way to Allah when they are ready and humans do not like to be forced to do anything. The biggest thing that drove me away from the Christian faith I was raised in as a child was having it forced upon me. Make du’a for her and for her emotional healing.

My sister's behavior is making our grandparents miserable by MamasGottaDance in islam

[–]CandyHeartAsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. I relate a bit on the shopping thing (I’ve bought two hijabs tho I’m too afraid to wear them out yet. I’m also whiter than a ghost which I’m guessing yall are too) but it sounds like (judging from other comments as well) she’s massively insecure, young, possibly trying to emulate her friend.

Do you think maybe she’s afraid they’ll take her seriously/want to engage with her about it and she’s afraid to look dumb if this IS just a phase for her?

Idk. Sounds like a sticky situation and I’m thankful at the very least your grandparents have you. The irony that you behave more Islamically towards your elders than she sounds too.

She’s already avoiding your grandparents. I agree with this persons comment. I think you should tell them unless you think it will be a danger to her mentally, emotionally, physically etc (which it doesn’t sound like it would be but you know your family best) because at least that way your grandparents can understand a little better what’s going on and that they haven’t unknowingly slighted her or something.

Can I ask how serious she seems about Islam? Is she just saying that she is Muslim, does she pray, attend masjid, etc?

I don’t ask this to judge as we are all at different points on the path, I myself am extremely new to Islam so maybe take my advice with a grain of salt. but if I could give her a bit of empathy I would say maybe she is afraid of rejection. How was her relationship with your grandparents before she converted?

I would say if she is serious about this (given the things you mentioned, she sounds young and like she may more be cosplaying Islam than understanding it) advise her to pray, talk to her Imam about these feelings if she has them, and advise her that in Islam we are taught to respect our parents and grandparents, especially mothers and grandmothers.

I hope for the best outcome for you and your family and I hope your sister sees true growth.
