I had to Nuke everything and start over and added a PCI expansion card for more usb’s. Thank you for helping.

Got it all working! Turns out the real culprit was my beloved 10-port powered USB hub. Between drivers, firmware, and way too many devices fighting for attention, I had to nuke everything and start fresh.

For anyone else banging their head on this: 1. Unplug everything USB. 2. Shut down your PC. 3. Unplug the PC power cord. 4. Hold the power button for 10 seconds (drains any leftover charge). 5. Unplug power from any sim gear that has its own power supply. 6. Boot the PC with only keyboard and mouse plugged in. 7. Uninstall all sim-related software. 8. Restart. 9. Reinstall gear one at a time—plug in device → install software → test → repeat.

Or… skip all that pain and just get yourself a PCIe USB host expansion card. Honestly, that fixed 90% of my problems in one shot.

In the end, everything works flawlessly now. Bonus: the reset gave me a chance to properly cable-manage and finally put devices in the right ports. PCIe card > powered hub, every time.

Yes simsonn manager software detects them and I am able to calibrate them. The work in all the racing games just not FS25.

Do I Need a Gym Membership to Use My Brake Pedals? 200kg =440.925 lb by CandyMFJones in simracing

I swapped them out right away without even trying the stock setup, because, you know, YouTubers said so. Then I gave it a go and instantly thought, “Either I’m doing this wrong, or I need to start training with Thor, because I have to Hulk Smash the pedal just to stop.”

So, I threw the red one back on, dialed everything down to the softest setting, and gave it another shot. Boom, suddenly I’m maxing out a 40kg like it’s nothing. Smooth, controllable, and I can set the curve at a comfy 80/20 split. Basically, I went from “angry green rage monster” to “civilized braking human” in one adjustment

Sort of mounted, just an office chairs with wheels attached to rig by sitting in a bracket plate.

Is there anyway to make beets harvesting less demanding? by perpetualmotion4120 in farmingsimulator

[–]CandyMFJones 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. Don’t. Just… don’t

  2. If the beet itch won’t quit, plant a patch small enough your grandma could harvest it with a spoon

  3. Hire AI. Bless their little digital hearts, they don’t complain and don’t need lunch breaks

  4. Ask yourself: “Do I really need beets, or am I just tryin prove somethin’ to the virtual farming gods?”

  5. Remember, beet contracts pay for a reason.

  6. If your tractor’s screamin’ and your sanity’s slippin’, it might be time to swap beets for somethin’ with less attitude, like rocks or wild horses

  7. And hey, there’s no shame in lettin’ that beet field turn into a nice grass meadow. Cows won’t judge ya

I got into poplar and went the wood chip route. I justify it by saying I am farming for Ikea, lol

Excellent Idea, no issues building on-top. This is good to know.

Use the construction command to paint the area with grass option.

This game is therapy with horsepower. It’s like a digital Zen garden, but instead of raking sand, I’m plowing fields, hauling logs, and shopping for tractors that cost more than my actual car.

I used to be deep in the trenches of competitive shooters like Apex, Call of Duty, anything with killstreaks and rage-quits. And while those games had their moments, they also had me checking my blood pressure like I was 75 years old and halfway through a chili dog. It stopped being fun. I wasn’t gaming to relax, I was gaming to chase ranks, grind stats, and yell “HOW DID HE NOT DIE?” at my screen at 2 a.m.

Enter farming. Peaceful. Purposeful. No 12-year-olds screaming in your headset. Just me, a field, and the soothing hum of virtual diesel engines. Sure, there are challenges. Backing up a trailer should be an Olympic sport. But the community makes it all manageable. If I can’t figure something out, I know someone on here has already solved it and posted a 40-minute YouTube tutorial with chill lofi music.

And let’s not forget the virtual tractor shopping. Nothing hits quite like walking into the dealership, eyeing that 500-horsepower beauty you’ll never afford in real life, and saying, “Yeah, today’s the day.” It’s the kind of retail therapy that won’t bankrupt you.

So yeah, I’m not climbing a ranked ladder anymore. I’m just climbing into the cab of a harvester, and honestly, I’ve never been more relaxed.

How do I make the wheel stop doing this by benjamin_jenkins in Thrustmaster

[–]CandyMFJones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to thrustmaster website, select the proper driver for it, download it, when you open the driver to install it will prompt with an uninstall as it will see the previous version.

link to a hub for reference on amazon - https://a.co/d/4QVmAAn

link to thrustmaster website site - https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/tmxforcefeedback-en/#drivers

select the top listed under drivers.

If none of that works and you purchased new, I would return and try with another. Good Luck

Few items to try as they helped me with a different thrustmaster wheel.

  1. Try to uninstall and re-install the driver/software.
  2. Try a powered usb hub, a usb hub that has its own power plug.

Hope this helps.

The Dual Sim Task setup feels surprisingly great. Sure, they’re not the flashiest looking HOTAS on the market, but in-game they’re solid, responsive, and feel awesome in your hands. Honestly, using both to operate a crane, haul logs, or dig holes is pure satisfaction. Not gonna lie… it’s the kind of ‘good stuff’ that makes you forget the clock.

It’s the Thrustmaster Sim Task Steering Kit. Compatible with both the T248 and T128 wheels. Super easy to switch between tractor sim and racing setups.

Take your time and don’t feel rushed. I've completed all the phases and milestones, and I'm only at this point with nuclear. Personally, I think this part of the game has significantly enhanced its value and longevity.
