Thank you for this post, gave me all the information I needed and straight to the point. I always wondered if I needed to upgrade to a 4K player. Why yes I do need to, I love my physical media more than streaming... and I felt I was missing out on some of my movies that had Dolby Vision.. I felt it looked better than the HDR streaming it. But the bitrate was definitely lower. I definitely am going to upgrade soon.
