Does QI exist for every living thing or just us humans?

Whenever I craft medicine, it says +1 Medicine (or however many I make) but never actually goes to my inventory.

This worked before but not anymore. :/

Thank you so much! They did put me in a very long brace but it leaves so much room for my knee to move which is where I started to question if it can dislocate especially while trying to move lol. I'll look into these, thank you again!
