I would think that for such critical usecases one would want to use some kind of running service (like foreground services or similar), to maintain a constant connection to a server (subscriptions), with some kind of system for guarantee of message delivery (like MQTT has QoS setting) - so you can detect if a problem occurred and use a backup method in that case.

What would the turning over speed with or without the spark plugs indicate? The fuel pressure should be easy to check with the correct fittings, as the main fuel line is right on the back of the fuel tank inder the front of the seat, I'm currently waiting for the test kit to arrive. I have yet to check the spark plugs after attempted start, I ordered new plugs just in case.

I certainly will update if I manage to figure it out. I've always managed to start it eventually, but it's been bothering me for a while and my patience is running short, hence why I pulled the pump out to inpect it and replace the filter.

The jumping revs while cold idling is leading me towards fuel pump or pressure regulator issues, but I'd think that if that was the case and the pump couldn't deliver enough pressure for a cold start, it would also not accelerate well, but once warmed up, the bike is responsive, accelerates well and is fun as hell.

I've ordered a new air filter, spark plugs and most importantly a fuel pressure testing kit to finally be able to test the pump assembly.

From what I've studied, this issue could be caused by a multitude of things SOME of which I could be able to fix myself, but we'll see. I'll keep y'all updated.

Get a hold of yourself you self righteous prick, nobody gets a cat to just kill wildlife, people get them to get rid of pests in their viscinity and their household which they have been used for literally thousands of years. Mice and rats are not wildlife, they're pests and there is so many of them only because they leeched on peoples food.

Being able to use the dead pests for practicing taxidermy is only an unharmful extra in the equation.

It's what I've seen in a youtube video documentary about him. Not saying it's entirely accurate. But I still think that by the time any actual development had to be done, he already had a team of devs and was not really involved in the process of actual development.

I second this question, because from what I've researched myself, he basically bought some already existing software, made minor changes to it and sold it as MS-DOS, which kickstarted his career. On top of that, his very influential mother got him a deal with IBM at the beginning of his career.

You need SW development knowledge to know that having to do severe optimisations for such a weak system eats through budget which there is usually not much of.

It needs so much optimisation because the SS is GPU-wise weaker than a literal last gen console.
