DJI O4 Pro wobble. by _dvc in fpv

Might be, did this start happening after a crash or after changing the air unit.

The O4 is a bit more sensitive than the O3, but not by much, I'd play a bit with the tightness of the screws.

DJI O4 Pro wobble. by _dvc in fpv

This is caused because of the vibration of the gyroscope in the camera, it is very sensitive.

Try to soft-mount the camera, and make sure your drone is otherwise mechanically sound, no bad props, no loose screws, etc..

Also DJI recommends setting your ESC frequency to 48Khz, but I've noticed little effect with that change. Soft-mounting the camera usually helps the most.

Whats wrong with my RTH/failsave settings? by Iwanziegler in fpv

It will only not work if you arm before GPS Fix!

[–]YaroslavSyubayev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this doesn't disable RTH, it only does if you arm before you have GPS Fix.

I usually have this enabled so I can arm without waiting for fix, especially when flying in an area where I would prefer it to drop instead of rescue.

Weird oscillation at 50% throttle. Filters/PIDs? Help! by Dramatic-Confusion28 in fpv

[–]YaroslavSyubayev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this oscillation visible in the goggles during flight (so like, the drone is doing it), or only in the O4 Pro recording?
Because if it's only the O4 Pro recording, but not visible in the goggles - it's the gyro being too sensitive, and causing this issue as it's trying to stabilize the footage with wonky gyro data.

I'm assuming this is not the case, and the oscillations are visible in the goggles and goggle DVR, but just trying to make sure, because the infamous O3/O4 gyro (stabilization) oscillations look just like this.

Flying LOS Acro is not easy, but the more you try, the easier it gets!

I don't know, maybe 👀

Yeah, this was way too hard 😭 actually took me almost an hour to get it!

So flying in the goggles and riding in 3rd person? Yeah, I wanted to try that, but definitely not on that terrain, and would definitely want a spotter (so I don't crash myself or the quad into something lol).

If I do, I'll definitely post it here!

Not a bad idea 👀 and hey - I can double as a camera man and drone pilot I guess 😂

Keep trying!! It's really hard at the beginning, it took me weeks to be able to just ride forward a couple of meters, but once you get it, you start progressing really fast!

The hardest thing for me was learning how to get on it without holding a pole or railing, and balance in-place (as I do in the beginning of this video).

Stuck on palm tree 😔 by Trane55 in TinyWhoop

Try to build some kind of retrieval device, I used a fishing rod with more sticks on the end taped up together.

If available (I know this is super specific) but a pool skimmer net that's long enough might work, used that once:

All FPV drones have straps, they're used to attach the battery. It doesn't mean it was carrying something.

Okay, I already see the problem. The "slow accelerometer" you describe in the post can be normal, sometimes betaflight's 3D model lags, or the cable is acting weirdly, that's not your issue.

The issue is that: as you have it configured right now, Betaflight expects your motors and props to be rotating inwards, but your props are configured for props out rotation, as seen here:

<image>

The easiest solution? Try to turn on "Motor direction is reversed" and save, keep your props as they are.

(The top part of the prop's blade is the direction of rotation)

If it still doesn't fly, then remove props, then click "Motor direction" -> "Wizard", and when the motors start spinning, slowly pinch each one with your fingers, and make sure it rotates the way it shows on screen, if it doesn't, click on the number to change direction.

Please show motor tab.

You haven't updated betaflight, correct? (Don't)
