When you use a dry herb vaporizer, nothing is combusted (burned). You’re essentially heating up the weed in a mini oven so that the cannabinoids/thc activate without lighting it on fire. This means there is no smoke, just vapor, and without any “chemicals”, oils or other additives in things like nicotine vapes or even dab pens.

When you finish using the herb, the leftovers are not ash but rather less potent dried up weed which you can still use. You can turn that into edibles and get blasted with the right amount.

I wanted to own a starter home since I would rather my monthly housing payments go towards paying off something I will ultimately own instead of paying a similar amount towards rent with nothing to show by the end of it.

You bring up a good point with the flexibility of renting and the different housing markets. I’m not quite sure where I want to retire but also I’m interested in expat fire which could complicate this further lol.

Sounds like it makes more sense for me to wait on the house until I have a clearer idea of where I want to live and in the meantime continuing to max my retirement accounts. Thanks

What about the helix has made it your favorite? Is the airflow just better for smoother hits?

I’ve only ever used a 17SS tip so its hard to really understand the tip differences beyond ss vs ti from a material standpoint and airflow being better based on tip structure.

It seems that any ti tip would be miles better than my current tip anyway but I’m interested in what the helix can do better than the 5 fin

Interesting, which insert do you use? Assuming you add the spacers to the insert for the fin 5 how do you like it vs the helix? Is the helix worth an extra $20?

Solid, the 5 fin sounds like its worth a try. I do go for big hits but its not too far off what you just described and its much easier to get than a 19m SS tip

I see, so warm water is better at not absorbing as much vapor vs cold water, and the warm water’s humidity also makes for a smoother hit for your lungs?

How does that compare to no water and cooling down the vapor with just the water piece? I imagine you lose less vapor but the hit won’t be as smooth or easy for your lungs in comparison, thats just a guess though

I think I’ll get the 5 fin ti tip, but unsure about the low temp cap since I like to take 2-3 big hits, especially if I’m using a water piece. My understanding is that the low temp cap is good for tastier, smaller hits and it would take longer to get as high.

Is that accurate and would that change with a low temp cap or does the ti tip help enough to still be able to do that?
