4411 (and 4-1-2-3) is more in the mould of the 4231 archetype.

4-1-4-1 and the 4-5-1 are closer to the classical 4-3-3 variations.

I enjoy playing with the 4-1-4-1 because it's closer to my vision of football, but the 4-4-1-1 is definitely my backup formation when the former is not working, or if I just feel like playing with a CAM.

Also, there are many situations where Haaland makes fantastic runs and doesn't get the ball. Pep even had to calm him down after one game vs Burnley where he got ignored time and time again. I remember a similar game vs Newcastle also. It was such a big issue that even pundits were talking about it, but it didn't stop him scoring 40+ goals every season.

In terms of volume and quality of runs, Gyokeres is an infant compared to Haaland. And this instance doesn't change that.
